Water Harvesting Group - Meet the Team
GAVIN HYNES – Managing Director
Is a licensed Plumber of more than 20 years experience, Gavin is a renowned Water Harvesting design and installation specialist. Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality ensure that each WHG project is treated individually and delivered as per customer requirements.
Gavin’s passion for projects from design to completion makes him a leader in his field, armed with knowledge and the real experience required for large and small projects alike.
WHG has developed a particular expertise in the design and implementation of rainwater storage systems – ranging from high-tech systems capturing and managing upwards of 700,000 litres at Schools all over Victoria. Also supplied and installed 518,000 lts at one of the Yarra Valleys most renowned boutique wineries, through to smaller, slim-line water tanks for the corporate and private home environment, sometimes requiring as little as 2,000 litres.
Gavin is a proud member of the Master Plumbers Association of Australia, Green Plumbers and ARID. He is also a Registered Building Practitioner.
EDDIE SANTOS – Operations & Planning Manager
Eddie’s background is in Chemical Engineering and graduated from University of Sao Paulo, Brazil with emphasis to the Water Industry. He has a Post Graduate in MBA of Project Management at Getulio Vargas University, Brazil and Massachusetts University, USA.
Eddie is a proud Member of Australia Engineers and AWA (Australian Water Association). Eddie has been managing the installation and commissioning of several types of Water Tank Projects around Australia. He has 8 years experience in the engineering field and worked for important players like Kellogg’s, Akzo Nobel and General Electric . He had different international experiences while living in USA and Brazil, before coming to Australia in 2007.
Eddie has since continued his career managing complex Water tank projects for Water Harvesting Group and is focused on delivering the long term environmental benefits to all WHG clients. Eddie is an integral part of the WHG team.
MICHELLE WALLACE – Business Administrator/Sales & Marketing
Michelle has a Bachelor of Business and more than 15 years of Accounting, Sales and Marketing experience. Michelle’s priority is customer service and communication, ensuring your experience with Water Harvesting Group will be professional, pleasant and mutually rewarding. Michelle is passionate about new technologies and improving the sustainability of our planet. The future is there for those that plan it.
